IPL 2026: Sunrisers Hyderabad Register Dominant Win Over Kolkata

In the 6th match of Indian Premier League 2026 held at Eden Gardens, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a convincing 65-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders. After being put into bat, SRH posted a massive total of 226/8 in 20 overs. Chasing 227, KKR struggled and were bowled out for 161 runs in just 16 overs, handing SRH their first points of the season.

SRH got a flying start with Abhishek Sharma (48) and Travis Head (46), while Heinrich Klaasen scored a brilliant half-century. Nitish Kumar Reddy added valuable runs. For KKR, Blessing Muzarabani took four wickets. However, their batting collapsed despite a fighting 52 from Angkrish Raghuvanshi and 35 by Rinku Singh. Jaydev Unadkat led SRH’s bowling with three wickets, supported by two wickets each from Nitish Kumar Reddy and Ishan Malinga.
