

The Meteorological Department has issued a major alert for the people of Telangana, warning of intense cold conditions over the next three days. Cold weather has already tightened its grip across the state, with temperatures steadily dropping day by day. According to the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre, single-digit temperatures were recorded in as many as 28 districts on a single day.
Additionally, temperatures fell below 12°C in five districts. The lowest temperature in the state was reported at Kohir in Sangareddy district, where the mercury dipped to just 5.8°C. Officials noted that cold conditions will be especially severe in Sangareddy, Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, and Medak districts. With the chill expected to intensify further over the next three days, residents are advised to remain cautious and take necessary precautions.
