

NVIDIA has officially entered the consumer laptop processor market with the launch of its new RTX Spark platform at Computex 2026. Marking a significant expansion beyond its graphics card business, the company unveiled its Arm-based RTX Spark superchip, designed to power the next generation of AI-focused laptops. Major PC manufacturers including Microsoft, ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP Inc., Lenovo and MSI are preparing devices powered by the new chipset.
The flagship RTX Spark configuration features 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores and up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory, delivering advanced AI performance, long battery life and ultra-thin designs. Microsoft is introducing the Surface Laptop Ultra, while Asus has unveiled its ProArt P16 and P14 models targeted at creative professionals. MSI's Prestige N16 Flip AI Plus, Dell's refreshed XPS 16, HP's OmniBook series and Lenovo's Yoga Pro lineup are also set to adopt the new platform. Nvidia's move is expected to intensify competition in the rapidly growing AI-powered PC market.
