Telangana Rakshana Sena Party president Kalvakuntla Kavitha turned emotional while addressing the Panchajanya Sankalpa Sabha held at the Old Collectorate Grounds in Nizamabad. Questioning why she was sent to Tihar Jail, Kavitha broke down while recalling the difficulties she faced during investigations by the ED and CBI over several years. She maintained that she had committed no wrongdoing and said she was deeply hurt by the manner in which she was treated during a difficult period. Speaking on her home turf, Kavitha said she could not hold back her emotions but asserted that she was not afraid to face challenges.
Kavitha also criticised the Congress government, alleging that it had failed to fulfil the promises made to the people despite completing 1,000 days in office. She questioned the silence of the opposition and raised allegations concerning the assets and activities of several current and former public representatives, demanding government action where necessary. She also raised issues related to the Kaleshwaram project, the Bodhan sugar factory and the Madhavnagar railway bridge. Kavitha announced that the Telangana Rakshana Sena Party would contest the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections.
