Fake Videos of Rukmini Vasanth Spark Cyber Crime Investigation

The Bengaluru Cyber Crime Police on Tuesday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against 29 social media accounts for allegedly circulating fake bikini videos and morphed photographs of actress Rukmini Vasanth. The action was initiated following complaints regarding the widespread sharing of manipulated and misleading content across various social media platforms.

According to police officials, an investigation has been launched to identify the individuals responsible for creating and distributing the fabricated content. Authorities stated that strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty of violating cyber laws and spreading defamatory material. The case highlights growing concerns over digital misuse, online harassment, and the circulation of fake content targeting public figures.
