Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has recovered from her health issues and was discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Sunday evening. The 79-year-old leader was admitted to the hospital on the 5th of this month due to asthma, chest infection and other related problems. Doctors closely monitored her condition during her stay.
A chest physician, Dr Arup Basu, treated her for about a week. After her health improved, doctors decided to discharge her. Hospital officials said that Sonia Gandhi has been advised to continue her treatment and rest at home as part of her recovery.
