The Telugu film industry has been hit by a major piracy case, with Ravi, an alleged key operator of the piracy website iBomma, currently in police custody. During the investigation, several sensational details have reportedly emerged. As part of the inquiry conducted on Friday, Ravi responded to questions raised by the police regarding his role in the operations of the web portals.
According to police findings, Ravi stated that he only provided technical services to web portals and claimed that he chose this work just like any other profession. However, police officials have alleged that over the last six years, nearly 21,000 movies were pirated and uploaded on platforms such as iBomma and Bappam TV. The investigation into the large-scale piracy network is still ongoing.
