Record rush of devotees in Tirumala

Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple witnessed a record level of devotee footfall in the financial year 2025–26. On average, around 73,000 devotees are having darshan of the Lord daily, compared to 70,000 in the previous years of 2023–24 and 2024–25. This marks a growth of 4.57 percent in pilgrim attendance.

The temple’s hundi income has also seen a significant rise, crossing over ₹120 crore every month for the last six months. In addition, laddoo sales have increased by 12.6 percent. The rising number of devotees has directly contributed to higher revenues for the temple administration.
