A surprising incident came to light just before the Andhra Pradesh Intermediate results were announced. A second-year student reportedly called the board officials and pleaded with them to somehow pass him. He even claimed that he had placed money in his answer sheets and admitted that he had not studied, writing the question paper repeatedly instead.
Upon checking his academic record, officials found that the student had failed in two subjects in the first year and three subjects in the second year. This revealed his ongoing struggle with studies and performance.
Instead of taking any strict action, the officials counseled the student and advised him to prepare well for the upcoming advanced supplementary exams. They also spoke to his parents, who assured that their son is at home and that they would take proper care of him and support his studies.
