Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has made an important announcement regarding the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that Iran is entering a new phase in managing this crucial waterway, which is one of the most important routes in the world. He described this move as a significant step for the country and made it clear that Iran will not spare those who attack it. He also said that Tehran is planning to demand compensation for the losses caused during the conflict.
Khamenei emphasized that Iran will seek justice for the damages, sacrifices of martyrs and those injured in the war. He also spoke about taking revenge for the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in attacks by the United States and Israel. At the same time, he clarified that Iran does not want war but will not give up its rights.
Meanwhile, the IRGC has introduced new rules for the Strait of Hormuz. Keeping in mind the ceasefire agreement with the United States, Iran has decided to allow only 15 ships per day through the strait. Only vessels that receive prior permission from Iran will be allowed to pass, indicating stricter control over this key global route.
