Roja’s Firebrand Remarks Once Again Make Waves in Nagari Politics

Former Minister R.K. Roja is widely known for her active presence in politics. The YSRCP firebrand leader R.K. Roja made these interesting remarks while attending a felicitation program for YSRCP sarpanches in Nagari. She humorously stated that after becoming an MLA, she received not only power but also certain health issues as “bumper offers.” She mentioned that she developed blood pressure during her first term as an MLA and diabetes during her second term. She noted that it is impossible to satisfy everyone in politics, but emphasized that she had served the people of Nagari and the YSRCP cadre to the best of her ability as both MLA and minister. She also called upon party workers to ensure that the YSRCP flag is once again hoisted in Nagari in the upcoming local body elections. Analyzing the reasons for past electoral defeat, she remarked that their inability to make false promises led to such results. She further alleged that the state has deteriorated because they were unable to make Jagan Mohan Reddy the Chief Minister again. Additionally, she strongly criticized the current TDP MLA of Nagari, alleging that he is involved in pressuring contractors and collecting money while neglecting public issues.
