New Rule Comes into Effect at Toll Plazas from Today

A new rule has come into effect starting today. Cash payments at toll plazas will no longer be accepted from today onwards. All toll payments will now be processed exclusively through the FASTag system.

Vehicles without FASTag will have to pay 1.25 times higher than the regular toll fee. In an effort to promote the FASTag system, the Central Government has discontinued cash payments at toll plazas on national highways. As a result, all vehicle owners are now required to make payments only through FASTag.
