

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the Women’s Reservation Bill a historic opportunity and urged all parties to support it unanimously in Parliament. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he said this is a golden chance to create history by giving power to half of the country’s population. He emphasized that society must change with time and empowering women is a key step in that direction.
He added that empowering women means building a developed India. According to him, women can guide the nation towards a better future when given proper opportunities. He pointed out that even after 30 years of attempts, the bill could not be passed earlier and warned that those who oppose it may not be forgiven by women voters.
The Prime Minister also said that women have already shown their strength by defeating those who opposed such measures in elections. He stressed that women will play a crucial role in achieving a developed India and that only parties supporting this bill will have political strength in the future. He clarified that the bill has no political motive and is widely welcomed across the country, urging all parties to support it together.
