Responding to demands from some quarters to ground the aircraft following the plane crash involving Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar in Mumbai, VSR Aviation owner Vijay Kumar Singh clarified that all of his company's flights are 100 percent fit and have no technical defects. He questioned the need to ground the aircraft and stated that they have not received any such proposal. He revealed that the accident was not caused by a defect in the aircraft, and that it was completely fit.

Vijay Kumar Singh stated that the Learjet 45 involved in the accident is one of the best aircraft in the world. He opined that the accident might have occurred due to low visibility during landing. He suggested that a small error in the pilot's judgment might have been the cause. He advised against making unnecessary speculations about the incident and urged that the facts be considered.
