New Governor Shiva Pratap Shukla to Take Oath Day After Tomorrow

Shiv Pratap Shukla, who has been appointed as the new Governor of Telangana, will take oath on March 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Lok Bhavan. Telangana High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh will administer the oath of office to him. Several state officials and dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony.

The new Governor will also address the joint session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly during the budget session on March 16 at 11:45 AM. His address will formally mark the beginning of the state’s budget session proceedings.
