

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar stated that the government is fully responsible for resolving RTC employees’ issues. He urged workers not to take impulsive decisions and said there had been some delay as the matter needed discussion at the Cabinet level. He announced that a sub-committee led by ministers had been formed to address employees’ concerns and that talks would be held with JAC leaders tomorrow. He also clarified that reports claiming jobs would be lost due to the introduction of electric buses were false and assured that the government remains committed to workers’ welfare. Minister Sridhar Babu added that the Cabinet had already discussed RTC employees’ issues.
The ministers appealed to RTC workers not to resort to hasty actions, stating that attempts to take one’s life are deeply unfortunate. They said discussions with workers would be held tomorrow under the leadership of the Deputy Chief Minister. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy criticized the previous government for neglecting employees during strike periods. He said the Congress government had released ₹10,000 crore for RTC and introduced free bus travel for women in Telangana. He also wished a speedy recovery to Shankar Goud. Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha stated that the government is sincere in resolving RTC issues and that the employee who attempted self-harm would be shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment at Apollo Hospital, Hyderguda. He urged workers to resolve issues through dialogue rather than emotion-driven actions.
