

Infosys, a leading IT services company, has reported strong quarterly results for the January–March period, showcasing significant growth. During this period, the company’s net profit rose by 20.8%, reaching ₹8,501 crore, compared to ₹7,033 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. Revenue from operations also increased by 13.4%, standing at ₹46,402 crore, up from ₹40,925 crore in the corresponding period last year, as stated in the company’s regulatory filing.
For the full financial year, Infosys recorded a net profit growth of 10.20%, reaching ₹29,440 crore, compared to ₹26,713 crore in the previous year. Operating revenue also grew by 9.6%, reaching ₹1,78,650 crore. The company has projected a revenue growth of 1.5% to 3.5% for the current financial year. Additionally, Infosys announced plans to hire 20,000 freshers this year. As of March, the company’s total employee strength stood at 3,28,594, according to CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka.
