

The Telangana government has released the second phase of funds under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, providing major support to farmers. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced that 45,11,947 farmers will benefit from this phase, with ₹2,206.06 crore being directly credited to their bank accounts today.
Earlier, during the inauguration of the oil palm factory at Narmetta, the government released ₹3,446.94 crore in the first phase. With both phases combined, a total of ₹5,653 crore has been distributed so far under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. In total, 71.06 lakh farmers have received benefits from this scheme.
The Minister said that the government gives top priority to farmers’ welfare and is committed to strengthening the agriculture sector further in the coming days.
