The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a fresh advisory urging Indian citizens not to travel to Iran by any means, including air or land routes. In a statement, the Indian Embassy in Tehran reiterated that, despite reports of limited flight operations between India and Iran, travel to the country remains unsafe. The advisory comes as airspace restrictions and operational uncertainties continue due to ongoing regional tensions.
Authorities have also strongly advised all Indian nationals currently in Iran to leave the country using designated land border routes. Citizens are instructed to coordinate closely with the embassy to ensure a safe and organized exit.
