Sanju Samson’s Brilliant Century Powers CSK to 207 Against Mumbai Indians

Sanju Samson delivered a stunning performance for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2026 clash against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Opening the innings, he played a key role in guiding CSK to a strong total of 207/6 in 20 overs.  Samson reached his second century of the season and his fifth IPL hundred overall in just 54 balls. His innings included 10 boundaries and 6 sixes, maintaining an excellent scoring rate throughout the match on a batting-friendly pitch.

With this knock, Samson set a new benchmark for Chennai Super Kings against Mumbai Indians. He went past the previous best score held by Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had made an unbeaten 88 off 58 balls in 2021. This innings now stands as the highest individual score by a CSK player in matches against Mumbai Indians.
