Intense Clash in Forest Border Areas; Death Toll Climbs to 19

In the forest areas along the Bijapur–Dantewada border in Chhattisgarh, security forces and Maoists once again exchanged fire. During Wednesday’s encounter, 12 Maoists and three DRG (District Reserve Guard) personnel were killed. By Thursday, the death toll had increased. In total, 19 Maoists were killed in the encounters that took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
