

The state government has shifted its focus toward enhancing temple infrastructure and promoting temple tourism. A comprehensive master plan is being prepared to upgrade major temples, with nearly Rs.400 crore earmarked for development works across various locations. Significant funding has been allocated for prominent temples such as Cheruvugattu, Kondagattu, Bhadrachalam, and Vemulawada.
Gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram at the Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is underway, using 25 kg of temple gold along with 35 kg donated by devotees. The government is covering the Rs.8 crore cost for manufacturing and fixing the gold plates. Authorities expect the work to be completed before the upcoming Brahmotsavam. Plans for a Vedic school at a cost of Rs.43.79 crore and acquisition of 101 acres for pilgrim accommodation are in motion. A dormitory hall on the hill has also been completed.
The government approved Rs.76 crore for improvements at the Vemulawada Raja Rajeswara Swamy Temple, including Rs.35.25 crore for a new annadanam complex and Rs.20 crore for the Baddi Pochamma Temple and beautification of the temple pond.
For the expansion of the Sitaramaswamy Temple in Bhadrachalam, Rs.60.20 crore has been allotted for land acquisition. In Warangal, Rs.30 crore was sanctioned for the construction of Mada streets around the Bhadrakali Temple.
Funds of Rs.12.15 crore were sanctioned for the Kodavatanch Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district. In Mahabubnagar, a new approach road to the Kurumuri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple is being built at a cost of Rs.110 crore. Additionally, Rs.3.20 crore was released for facilities at the Ramalingeshwara Swamy Temple in Khammam, and Rs.6.70 crore for development works at the Maruthi Mandir in Salabathpur, Kamareddy district.
