Fuel dealers in Vijayawada have raised serious allegations against Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), claiming that fuel loads are being deliberately delayed despite advance payments. According to the Petrol Dealers Federation, even when dealers send their own tankers and make advance payments, they are being made to wait for one to two days, with tankers reportedly sent back from terminals without loading.
The federation further alleged that HPCL field officials are pressuring dealers to purchase premium fuel variants such as “Power.” Dealers claim they are being warned that failure to buy premium fuel could result in disruption of regular supply. These developments have sparked concern among fuel retailers, who are demanding immediate intervention to ensure fair and uninterrupted fuel distribution.
