Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka made an important announcement about the Indiramma Housing Scheme. He said the government is giving houses under this scheme to ensure that no family in the state lives without a home. He also requested the beneficiaries to complete the construction of their houses as soon as possible. To help them, the government will release construction bills every week.
Responding to criticism about the Telangana state budget from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bhatti Vikramarka said the opposition is unnecessarily criticizing the government’s welfare decisions. He assured that all eligible families will receive houses under the Indiramma housing scheme.
He also announced that the government plans to introduce a large insurance scheme for families across Telangana, which will provide financial and health security. In addition, the government plans to expand the mid-day meal program so that students from nursery to intermediate level will receive meals, removing earlier limits.
