A deadly bomb blast in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has created panic and tension. The explosion took place in Lakki Marwat after militants reportedly planted a bomb in a rickshaw. At least nine people lost their lives, while more than 20 others were seriously injured in the attack.
According to reports, the victims include two police personnel and a woman. No terrorist group has officially claimed responsibility for the blast so far. However, police suspect the involvement of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan militants, who have been active in border regions near Afghanistan. The incident once again highlights the growing violence in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border areas.
