Heavy Rains and Hailstorm Hit Several Areas of Hyderabad

Several areas in Hyderabad witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday evening, bringing sudden weather changes across the city. Areas such as Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Film Nagar, Kukatpally, Miyapur and Chandanagar experienced intense rain, while residents reported waterlogging in some places.

Heavy rain was also recorded in Quthbullapur, Jeedimetla, Shapur and Chintal. Meanwhile, Manikonda, Gachibowli and Kompally experienced hailstorms along with the rain. The sudden downpour affected traffic in many parts of the city.

Due to the heavy rain, some motorists were seen stopping their vehicles under metro pillars for temporary shelter until the rain slowed down. The weather change brought relief from the heat but also caused brief disruptions in traffic.
