Amid the ongoing Middle East conflict and its ripple effects on fuel availability, an unusual incident from Madhya Pradesh has captured widespread attention. A bank employee, Gopal Thakur, surprised onlookers by riding a horse to his workplace after being unable to refuel his motorcycle due to long queues at a petrol station. The incident took place in the Radhaganj area of Dewas, where Thakur works at AU Finance Bank. Locals recorded videos of his unique commute, which quickly went viral on social media.
After seeing the long queue at the fuel station, Thakur returned home and decided to use a horse he had earlier bought for leisure. Covering a distance of about 3 kilometers, he reached his office even before time and marked his attendance. The incident highlights how ordinary citizens are adapting in creative ways to fuel shortages triggered by global tensions, turning a routine commute into a viral moment.
