Uncertainty continues over talks between the United States and Iran regarding the end of the ongoing conflict. In this context, US President Donald Trump made a key announcement, stating that attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure will be paused for another 10 days following a request from Tehran. He shared this update on his Truth Social platform.
Earlier, Trump had issued an ultimatum to Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours. Following this, discussions between the two sides are reportedly progressing. As part of the ongoing talks, attacks on energy facilities and power plants have been temporarily suspended until April 6. Trump expressed optimism, noting positive developments in negotiations. However, it remains unclear whether this pause will lead to a lasting ceasefire or merely ease tensions temporarily.
