Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused the Indian National Congress government in Telangana of following double standards in governance. In a post on X, he claimed that the state government is removing poor families from their homes while protecting properties connected to Asaduddin Owaisi.
Sanjay said that authorities quickly sent bulldozers to remove more than 200 poor families. However, he alleged that when it comes to a college linked to Owaisi near Salkam Cheruvu, the machinery remains inactive. He described the situation by saying there are “buffer zones for the poor and comfort zones for Owaisi”, accusing the government of treating people differently.
He also said that while Narendra Modi is building houses for poor families through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the state government is sending bulldozers to demolish homes. According to Sanjay, such actions show political appeasement instead of fair governance.
