A tense situation arose at Tirumala after a woman devotee was bitten by a snake while standing in the Rs.300 darshan queue line. The incident created panic among devotees present at the queue complex. Following the incident, temple authorities and staff responded quickly and shifted the injured woman to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) for immediate medical treatment.
According to officials, the health condition of the devotee is currently stable. The victim has been identified as Mounika (27), a resident of Bhupalpally in Telangana. Authorities are monitoring the situation, and the incident has raised concerns regarding safety arrangements in the queue lines at the temple premises.
