The central government has issued an important statement regarding concerns over the shortage of LPG cylinders in the country. It said that cylinders will now be delivered within about two and a half days after booking. To ensure smooth supply, the government stated that LPG production has been increased by nearly 25 percent. Officials believe this step will help stabilize gas availability across the country. The government also clarified that oil imports are being carried out through routes that do not depend on the Strait of Hormuz, amid global supply concerns.
According to the Centre, the country has procured even more oil from alternative routes than the supply that was affected through the Hormuz route, ensuring that domestic fuel supply remains stable.
