Sunrisers Hyderabad continued their impressive form in the 19th season of the tournament. After securing a hat-trick of wins at Uppal, they registered a dominant victory over Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. Despite a strong challenge from the hosts, powered by Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s record-breaking century (103), SRH batters Ishan Kishan (74) and Abhishek Sharma (57) turned the game around with their aggressive batting. Both laid a solid foundation for the chase before falling in quick succession. However, Heinrich Klaasen (29) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (36) played impactful cameos to guide the team to their fourth consecutive win.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi stole the spotlight with a sensational century on home soil. He reached his hundred in just 36 balls, putting the opposition bowlers under immense pressure. From the very first over, he maintained an aggressive approach, accelerating the scoring rate. He also built a crucial partnership with Dhruv Jurel (51). In the death overs, Donovan Ferreira (33) added valuable runs, but the SRH bowlers struck at regular intervals, restricting Rajasthan Royals to a modest total.
