

Actor and former Minister Dr. Babu Mohan, who has served the Telugu film industry for over four decades, has been honored with the prestigious Relangi Award. This award was jointly presented by the Telugu Film & Television Welfare Forum and the Bharat Cultural Academy. The conferment of this award upon Babu Mohan—who has acted in over 2,000 films—has brought immense joy to the film fraternity. Several prominent film personalities attended a media conference held to commemorate his 41-year cinematic journey and extended their congratulations.
Speaking on the occasion, various dignitaries lauded Babu Mohan, noting that he has rendered exceptional service not only in the field of acting but also in politics. They further demanded that he be conferred with the Padma Shri award, recognizing his ability to captivate audiences through his humble demeanor, spirit of service, and sense of humor. Responding to the honor bestowed upon him, Babu Mohan stated that the love of the people remains the greatest award for him. He added that he intends to continue acting in films while simultaneously pursuing his social service activities.
