Case Filed Against MLA Arava Sridhar After NHRC Directions

A case has been registered against MLA Arava Sridhar at Railway Koduru Police Station in Tirupati district. A woman filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), alleging that the MLA sexually assaulted her over the past one and a half years.

After reviewing the complaint, the NHRC contacted the Tirupati District Superintendent of Police and instructed immediate action. Following the commission’s directions, the Railway Koduru police registered a case against MLA Arava Sridhar. The incident has now become a topic of public and political discussion.
