The Telangana government has constituted a high-level committee to address issues related to properties included in the prohibited list under Section 22-A of the Registration Act. The committee comprises three senior officials, with the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) heading the panel. The Law Department Secretary and the Inspector General of Stamps and Registration will serve as members.
The committee will examine various issues arising from the inclusion of properties in the 22-A prohibited list, including pending registrations and land-record-related concerns, and suggest measures for their resolution. The state government is also expected to frame guidelines and take policy decisions to address the disputes.
