Jailer 2 OTT Version: Will Amazon Prime Video Release an Extended Cut?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is reportedly performing strongly at the box office. Produced by Sun Pictures and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, the action entertainer has generated considerable excitement among fans. Before its theatrical release, reports suggested that nearly 100 minutes of footage had been removed during editing. This reportedly disappointed some fans, who took to social media demanding that the deleted scenes be included in the film.

Now, fresh speculation about the film’s digital version has caught the attention of movie lovers. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights to Jailer 2. According to reports from Kollywood circles, discussions are underway about adding an additional 20 to 30 minutes of footage to the theatrical version for its OTT premiere. If this plan materialises, fans could get an extended version of the film during its digital release. However, the makers have not officially confirmed these reports, and viewers will have to wait for an announcement.
