Tejashwi launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, using an analogy from the Mahabharata to criticise the alleged theft of votes. He said that while the Ramayana is traditionally staged at Ramlila Maidan, they were presenting a “Mahabharata” against those accused of stealing votes. Referring to the dice game in the epic, Tejashwi compared Modi to Shakuni and alleged that Gyanesh Kumar was acting like a dice in Shakuni’s hands, following his directions.
Tejashwi further demanded that a sedition case be registered against Gyanesh Kumar and that he be sent to prison. He said his party was fighting to protect voters from those he described as cheaters. His remarks came amid the ongoing political controversy over allegations of vote theft and the conduct of election authorities. The accusations against Modi and Gyanesh Kumar were made by Tejashwi and should be understood as political allegations.
