

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, speaking at an event at the Parade Grounds in Hyderabad, recalled the history of Telangana’s integration with India. He said Hyderabad and Jodhpur share an unbreakable bond and noted that people in the region had wanted to become part of India. Shekhawat recalled the struggles against the Nizam and said several freedom fighters had fought for independence, freedom and the integration of Telangana with India.
Shekhawat said he had come to Hyderabad as a representative of Jodhpur and highlighted the role of the Jodhpur Army in supporting the integration of the region with India. He said the people of Telangana had a strong tradition of instilling a spirit of struggle and courage among the younger generation. Shekhawat also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working towards the goal of a developed India and taking forward efforts to build a Viksit Bharat.
