CBI Charge Sheet Reveals Shocking Modus Operandi in NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has revealed startling details about the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak in a 94-page charge sheet filed before the Rouse Avenue Court in New Delhi. According to the investigation, a well-organised network involving NTA subject experts and intermediaries allegedly orchestrated the leak. The charge sheet names P.V. Kulkarni, Manisha Mandare, and Manisha Havaldar as key accused. Investigators alleged that the experts memorised examination questions, wrote them on paper slips and marked relevant sections in textbooks before the information was passed on to coaching centres and selected candidates through intermediaries.

The CBI further pointed out serious security lapses in the National Testing Agency's examination process. It alleged that experts involved in question paper preparation were not subjected to thorough security checks while entering or leaving sensitive areas, making it easier to leak confidential information. Handwritten notes were recovered during the investigation, strengthening the evidence. The agency stated that the alleged conspiracy was driven by financial gains and an attempt to improve coaching institutes' success rates. The NEET-UG paper leak triggered nationwide protests by students and intensified scrutiny of the examination system.
