Google has unveiled its June Pixel Drop update, introducing a host of new AI-powered features for Pixel smartphones and wearables. The update arrives alongside Android 17 and Wear OS 7, bringing advanced creative tools, enhanced multitasking capabilities, expanded language support, and improved safety features. One of the standout additions is Screen Reactions, a Pixel-exclusive tool that allows users to record reaction videos and tutorials by overlaying a live selfie feed directly onto screen recordings, eliminating the need for third-party applications.
The update also expands Google's AI ecosystem with Gemini-powered tools. Users can now generate and edit videos using text prompts through Gemini Omni 2, create AI avatars, remix photos and videos, and compose original music tracks using Gemini 3. Other highlights include the new Bubbles multitasking feature, Voice Translate support on more devices, Quick Share compatibility with Apple AirDrop, and enhanced emergency alerts. Indian users will also gain access to Manual Call Screen, allowing Google Assistant to answer unknown calls and identify callers. Additionally, the Edit with Ask Photos feature now enables advanced photo editing through simple natural-language commands.
