The concepts of work from home and hybrid work have become increasingly popular in the job market since the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, Dubai has introduced a new concept called ‘Work from Park’, offering professionals an opportunity to work in a peaceful, natural setting. The hub has been established at Al Barsha Pond Park by Dubai Municipality, primarily targeting freelancers and employees who work remotely or follow a hybrid schedule. The facility provides Wi-Fi connectivity and power sockets, allowing visitors to work comfortably while enjoying the outdoor environment.
For those who prefer protection from outdoor heat and weather conditions, the park also offers dedicated indoor workspaces. Visitors wishing to use these indoor facilities must purchase a daily pass costing 50 UAE dirhams, approximately ₹1,300. However, those who choose to work in the regular park areas can use the space without paying any fee. The project is a joint initiative of Dubai Municipality, flexible workspace platform Letswork and construction company Amana. The facility began operations on Monday and is being presented as Dubai’s first dedicated ‘Work from Park’ hub.
