Google has introduced a new experimental AI app called Dreambeans in India, designed to turn users’ everyday activities into personalised visual stories. With the user’s permission, the app draws information from Google services such as Gmail, Calendar, Photos, YouTube Search and Workspace to understand their daily activities and interests. It analyses this information overnight and delivers customised stories early the following morning. Depending on the context, the content may include images and animated video clips. Users do not need to provide prompts or manually create a feed, as the app generates stories based on their interests and available information.
Dreambeans also allows users to provide feedback and ask AI questions about the stories it creates. Their responses help the app tailor future content more closely to their preferences. Google says the app includes privacy controls that allow users to choose which services to connect or disconnect, block specific topics from appearing and delete their data whenever they wish. The app is available for Android and iOS users in India and supports multiple languages, including Telugu, English and Hindi. It can be used by individuals aged 18 and above.
