Victory Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas' family entertainer Adarsha Kutumbam – House No. 47 (AK47) has faced a disappointing first Monday at the box office. Released in theatres on October 30 amid high expectations, the film reportedly managed decent collections over the opening weekend. However, its performance weakened significantly as the working days began. On its first Monday, the film collected approximately ₹4 crore gross worldwide. The decline was particularly noticeable in Telangana, where collections reportedly fell by nearly two-thirds compared with Friday's opening figures. Falling theatre occupancy has also become a concern for the film's trade.
By the end of the opening weekend, the film had reportedly earned around ₹25 crore in worldwide distributor share. Even after adding the first Monday collections, its total share remained below ₹30 crore, according to the figures provided. Distributors and buyers are said to need substantially higher collections to recover their investments. The sharp decline has therefore raised concerns about the film's box-office prospects and could lead to losses if collections do not improve. The result is also being viewed as an unexpected setback for director Trivikram Srinivas.
