Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the Sadar Sammelan organised by the Sri Krishna Sadar Sammelan Utsav Committee at NTR Grounds in Hyderabad as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he extended his greetings to the Yadav community and described the event as a symbol of self-respect for the entire people of Telangana, rather than just one community. He highlighted the contribution of Yadavs to Hyderabad’s development and recalled that Golconda Fort was once known as Gollankonda. The Chief Minister said his government had declared Sadar Sammelan a state festival and sanctioned Rs. 5 crore for its organisation. He also highlighted Telangana’s caste census initiative, describing it as a model for the country.
Revanth Reddy said his government had provided political representation to the Yadav community by appointing Anil Kumar Yadav to the Rajya Sabha, giving Naveen Yadav an opportunity as an MLA and nominating Eshwaramma Yadav as a member of the Yadagirigutta Board. He added that arrangements were being made for cow protection at the Yadagirigutta gaushala. The Chief Minister assured the community that his government would work to ensure its rightful share and protect its self-respect. He also sought the community’s support for key development projects, including the Musi Riverfront development, Metro expansion and Bharat Future City.
