Apple is expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities across the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac through its latest software updates, with a stronger focus on personalisation and convenience. The biggest highlight is the enhanced Siri AI assistant, which can now handle complex tasks such as organising files, locating previously visited places and coordinating plans with friends. Users can ask Siri to create Apple Music playlists, organise Safari tabs and schedule messages. The new capabilities are available for testing across 16 apps, including Mail, Calendar, Maps, Messages, Photos, Notes and Reminders. Apple is also expanding Siri's language support, with beta testing now available in Chinese, Vietnamese, Turkish and Norwegian.
The Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are receiving new Audio Intelligence features, including Live Rewind, which lets users revisit the previous 15 seconds of a conversation, and Siri Recap, which automatically generates conversation summaries. Apple is also testing a redesigned Health app with personalised health insights, Health Age and movement assessments. Fitness+ Gym Strength introduces customised four-week strength-training plans, while Safari gets vertical tabs and Adaptive Dark Mode. The redesigned StandBy experience is expanding to more compatible iPhones, and supported iPads are receiving additional Siri and Visual Intelligence features. Apple is also opening Siri integrations to developers through its App Intents framework and new Skills feature, enabling users to perform tasks such as checking deliveries, booking reservations and placing orders through voice commands. App Store submissions featuring these integrations are expected to begin in spring 2027.
