Stock Markets Rebound as Sensex Posts Strong Gains

Indian stock markets staged a strong recovery during the afternoon trading session after witnessing volatility in the morning. Buying interest among investors helped the benchmark indices close in positive territory. The Sensex gained 383.55 points to settle at 77,301.40, while the Nifty rose 149.75 points to reach 23,960.60.

Notably, the Sensex recovered nearly 700 points from its intraday low. Increased buying activity during the afternoon session helped the markets regain momentum.
