Adobe has released its first Creators’ Toolkit Report, based on a large global survey, highlighting how generative AI is being adopted by content creators. The report shows that a majority of creators worldwide are already using AI tools for content creation and believe the technology is driving growth in the creator economy, despite ongoing concerns about AI-generated content.
The survey, which gathered responses from over 16,000 creators across countries including India, the US, UK, Japan and Germany, found that Indian creators in particular have a very positive outlook on AI. According to Adobe, 97 percent of Indian respondents said AI has positively impacted the creator economy, while 95 percent felt it helped accelerate their business and audience growth. About 85 percent also said AI enabled them to create content they otherwise could not. Common uses of AI include editing, enhancement, upscaling, image and video generation and idea brainstorming. The report also notes strong interest in agentic AI, with most creators saying they would consider using AI agents if they can adapt to their creative style.
At the same time, concerns remain. Around 78 percent of creators worry about their content being used to train AI without consent, along with issues such as high costs, inconsistent output quality, and lack of transparency in AI training. The survey was conducted in partnership with The Harris Poll in September 2025 and focused mainly on emerging and semi-professional creators active on social platforms.
