Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has directed officials to set up a dedicated war room at Praja Bhavan to closely monitor preparations for the ‘Invest Telangana’ Global Summit scheduled for December 7, 8 and 9. The war room will review the progress of arrangements on a daily basis, coordinate with various government departments and ensure quick decisions on key issues. Bhatti instructed officials to form committees for the summit and appoint senior officers to oversee different responsibilities. He also called for the immediate creation of advisory and executive committees, the development of a logo for Summit-2026 and a detailed action plan to showcase Telangana’s investment opportunities. A promotional event is also being planned in New Delhi during the first or second week of October to attract national and international attention.
Bhatti said the Telangana government’s key objective is to transform the state into a global green hub by expanding renewable energy and promoting sustainable technologies. Speaking at the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Indian Green Building Council in Hyderabad, he said the government aims to make Telangana globally competitive in economic growth, industrial development and green technology. He stressed the need for energy-efficient buildings that make better use of sunlight, water and electricity while reducing the burden on the environment and public finances. The government is also prepared to work with the IGBC to implement green practices in government schools, hospitals and mass housing projects, he added.
