Team India's star cricketer Virat Kohli has built an impressive identity not only through his performances on the field but also in the world of brands and business. As he celebrates his birthday on November 5, attention has once again turned to his growing brand empire and influence beyond cricket. Since making his international debut in 2008, Kohli has evolved into an icon in fitness, fashion, lifestyle and entrepreneurship. According to the Kroll India Celebrity Brand Valuation 2025 report released in August 2026, Kohli's brand value stood at USD 158.4 million, approximately Rs. 1,320 crore, placing him third among Indian celebrities. He continues to be the highest-valued celebrity endorser from the sports fraternity. Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh occupied the first and second positions, respectively. Although Kohli's brand valuation declined compared to the previous year, his influence in the advertising industry remains significant.
Kohli's advertising journey has featured several memorable campaigns over the years. He made an early impression in the 2010 Fastrack advertisement alongside Genelia D'Souza, followed by the Nestle Munch campaign in 2013, which showcased his comic timing. The same year, he appeared in a Clear Shampoo advertisement with Anushka Sharma, marking an important chapter in their relationship. The two eventually got married in December 2017. Kohli later featured in campaigns for Manyavar-Mohey, Puma, one8, Too Yumm!, Myntra, Livspace and Asian Paints. His advertisements have covered everything from fitness and fashion to home interiors and lifestyle. He also promoted Dubai tourism alongside Anushka through Visit Dubai and appeared in Johnnie Walker's 'Keep Walking' campaign in 2026. Through these associations, Kohli has established himself as one of India's most influential sporting personalities in the commercial and advertising space.
