Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli may be in their late 30s, but their energy and agility on the field continue to match that of much younger players. The two Indian stars, popularly known as 'Ro-Ko', grabbed attention with their brilliant fielding efforts against New Zealand on Wednesday. Rohit turned the game around with a remarkable run-out of the well-set Daryl Mitchell. When Glenn Phillips pushed the ball towards short midwicket and attempted a quick single, Rohit reacted instantly, gathered the ball and fired it towards the wicketkeeper, sending Mitchell back to the pavilion.
Kohli was equally impressive in the field. During Kamboj's bowling spell, he dived to his right at slip and pulled off a spectacular one-handed catch to dismiss Nathan Smith. The two veterans' athleticism and sharp reflexes delighted fans, proving that age is no barrier to exceptional fitness. Although Rohit could not make an impact with the bat later in the match, Kohli entertained the spectators with some impressive strokes in a contest dominated by the bowlers.
